The Museum of Ancient Peoples and Cultures

So the other day, like a month ago, I went on a date with Jason Weber to the Museum of Ancient Peoples and Cultures. It was pretty much the most =incredible night ever. First we took a tour of the two room museum, then we went on a scavanger hunt trying to figure out where to go to get food. We were totally beating all the other couples when the Skeletons in one of the displays jumped out of the case and grabbed me. It was the one with the guitar and he hit me over the head with his instrument. It hurt a lot, but I was fighting bak as hard as I could. when I looked over at Jason, the other three skeletons were attacking him! All of hte other people in the museum were so distracted by the thought of winning the race and getting the food that nobody noticed out unfortunate predicament! Despite our struggles, the crazy skeleton creatures dragged us away and then I was blindfolded. When the blindfold was finally removed from my eyes I was in a small cramped room painted red with mold in the corners and fungi hanging from the ceilings. Worst of all, I was totally alone. The only noise was a small creaking noise when I stepped on the warping hardwood floor in the corner of the room oppostie the door. I screamed for help, but nobody heard me. So I sat and waited. It seemed like hours, but whith my warped perception of time, who knows how long it was. Then I started to hear something. SOuting. Faint, but sure. I pounded on the door and screamed for someone to help me. The shouting got louder, and as it got closer I could hear that there was some sort of battle going on. "Help me! I am here! Get me out! There is mold!" I shouted as I continued to pound against the door. Suddenly I heard some one say, "Get away form the door! I am going to pound it in!" I jumped back and then waited...KABOOM! the door flew off it's hinges, exposing the scene before me. Jason had kicked down the door. Behind him there was a battle going on. Aparently, Ruth, my roommate, finally noticed our absence. In her infinate knowledge of my behavior, she knew I was introuble and not just running off to have fun becasue I was bored. It seems that she and her date (my brother, Eric), followed a trail of breadcrumbs that Jason had left for someone to follow. Realizing the danger of the situation, Eric and Ruth enlisted the help of Brianon and David. The four fellows displayed intense braverism and folloewd the breadcrumb trail to the very building I was in when they found me. They found the skeleton monsters guarding a door with a sign that said "Jason is here, but Amy is down the hall." That is where the battle began. Brianon single handedly took out the skeleton with the flute right after it knocked out David with it's instrument. David was still passed out down the hall. Ruth kicked her four square ball against the door and it exploded in a mess of fried pears and bananas, revealing the yellow room in which Jason was entraped. Soon he was helping Brianon and Eric fight off the other three skeletons. Then Jason heard my shouting and proceded down the hall to rescue me. Just before he got to my door, Ruth lost her grip on the skeleton that she was trying to dismember and it ran down the hall after Jason, tripping him just before he got to my door. Luckily, she had caused the skeleton enough damage that Jason was able to get away easily. After all, it is hard for anyone, let alone a skeleton, to keep a hold of a determined college student when he has no arms. Ruth caught up to the skepeton and swung the bony arm he had left in her hands st his face. That is when my door was finally smashed opened and the first thing I saw besides Jason was Ruth Smacking that skeletons head off with it's own arm. I passed out. When I woke up I was in my dorm room. There was a plate of cookies right next to my bed, but it was empty becasue Ruth and Brianon ate them all before I woke up. I forgive them.
The biggest thing that I learned from this experience is this - Never trust Ruth's extra credit assignments.
